525,600 minutes, how do you measure, measure a year?
How about love,
Measure in love,
Seasons of love...

I have my season of love now, and I could not choose a better person to tread through life with...Though I have been hurt in the past, my partner heals me in places I never thought would feel warm again. My heart covered in scars suddenly feels so much lighter, and I could never thank him enough for that. Suddenly, I am not so much the weary traveler, but now I gaze forward, hand in hand with the person I love so dear to take this glorious adventure on the path of life.

So, how do I measure a year? I measure a year in the arms of my daily blessing. He makes a second seem to be a lifetime of happiness, and time stands still with him. It is true, that time stops when with the one you love, so that you can preserve that perfect moment you share with him. I am still in this moment, every time I can see him smile, hear is soft soothing voice, and the glorious sound of his heart beating delicately in his chest. These are my seasons of love, and I am more than contented with them.

"The heart may freeze, or it can burn, the pain will ease, if I can learn. There is no future, there is no past, I live this moment as my last. There's only us, there's only this, forget regret, or life is yours to miss, no other road, no other way, no day but today..."

One night with this great healer I am blessed to call my lover, I remember so clearly..it is a moment that even to now, I have yet to leave, for it still warms my heart as I picture it. It was a chilly evening, and we were walking casually, hand in hand slowly through the chilling air that seemed to be tearing at us, almost as if toy break our hands, and force us apart. Regardless, we strolled casually, not letting this invader force us apart, and I have never felt so warm in my life, there trotting under the stars, I looked in to his, and I see the angel in him I have seen forever, and all I can do is smile, knowing I am the single most blessed person in the world.

So, I agree there is no past, or future..no day but today, because in my heart I will never leave these days with him. My time with him is everlasting, and I will enjoy several more sunsets and sunrises with him, but live only today, for with someone so special, all apprehension must be forgotten, and I must live each day with him like it is my last. So, let this, my final of days, last with him forever more, and for many more smiles, tears, embraces and most importantly many more reasons to fall in love with him once again.

My dearest lover, let me be with you for tonight, and all nights ever come. Let me hold you close and feel safe and secure like I have never felt before. With you I fear nothing, for I know you hold me secure, and protected from all things that harm me. Even more, let me forever hold you in the same way, let me ensure you always feel safe, and always loved. You my dearest of friends and most intimate of family, let me fight each day to deserve you, let me fall in love with you again each morning, and hold it close in my sleep.

I know you deserve so much better, but I will regardless always do my best to earn the ability to hold you close, and let our hearts beat in sync. I want to be there for you always, in your hard times and times of Joy, in your times of hurt and healing, your times of love and sorrow, and your times need. Let me be the protective and warming blanket you drape on your shoulders, and let me be the person you hold closest in your journeys of life. Bless me to live my years with you, always by my side, and I will always be by yours. There is nothing as true as my feelings for you, and for those feelings, I am willing to risk everything, so that you can be shown the love that you deserve a thousand fold.

Most importantly, let me be your companion on this adventure of life, and let us never stray the path that we lay before us, let us never look over our shoulders and regret the decisions we have made with each other, and let us hold each other up in the times we need most. Let us never feel bad about opening up and being willing to help each other, let us forget the bad things in life, because as long as you are around, I have not a bad moment..you heal all scars, and support me through the roughest of perils. Be my pillar and I yours, and let us, measure this day, year and lifetime together.

Congratulations and my deepest thanks for this second month of our union as partners on this long journey of life. I pray to whatever powers that may be, that we have many more months that encompass a lifetime full of happiness and prosperity for us. I gaze not to tomorrow, because I never want to look away from today, and as such, we may grow older, but we are forever young. This is today and now, and I will remain in this moment forever with you.
